I am a participant in a company that, for at least the last 6 months before my application for a residence permit, in accordance with the business plan in the Republic of Lithuania carries out the activities specified in the founding documents of the company, where the citizen of the Republic of Lithuania, other EU Member States or EFTA Member States, or foreigners permanently resident in the Republic of Lithuania are employed full-time, and whose salaries in total are at least 2 monthly average gross earnings of the employees of the country’s economy in the last quarter published by the Lithuanian Department of Statistics (including the information on earnings in private enterprises), and the value of equity (for non-AB and non-UAB – assets) is not less than 28,000 EUR, whereof at least 14,000 EUR is my invested funds or other assets, and I am the manager of this company or a shareholder of AB or UAB whose nominal value of the shares of the company being owned is not less than 1/3 of the authorised capital of this company.
Requirements for the company:
- a business plan according to which the activities are carried out for at least 6 months;
- part-time work is required for the citizens of Lithuania and other EU or EFTA Member States or foreigners with permanent residence in the Republic of Lithuania, whose salaries in total are at least 2 monthly average gross earnings of the employees of the country’s economy in the last quarter published by the Lithuanian Department of Statistics (including the information on earnings in private enterprises);
- equity value not less than 28,000 EUR;
- activities are carried out for at least 6 months according to the business plan in the Republic of Lithuania.
Requirements for me:
- you must be a manager of the company or a shareholder of UAB or AB holding at least 1/3 of the authorised capital of the company);

- documents stating that the value of the company's equity (in the case of non-open limited liability company or non-private limited liability company – assets) amounts to at least 28 thousand EUR (company's financial statements (balance sheet, statement of changes in equity)), whereof at least 14 thousand EUR of funds are invested or other assets (in the case of AB or UAB – shares of the company owned by you, the nominal value whereof is not less than 14 thousand EUR and in case of IĮ, MB or TŪB – the contribution (monetary or other assets) to a company or an enterprise not less than 14 thousand EUR) if one financial year has passed since the date of establishment of the company;
- documents stating that you are the manager of the company or a shareholder of AB or UAB, owning the shares of the company with a nominal value of not less than 1/3 of the authorised capital of this company (list of shareholders of AB or UAB).

The amount of subsistence is 1 minimum monthly salary per month. The funds must be sufficient for the entire period of validity of the requested temporary residence permit or for at least one year.

A document confirming that have an accommodation in which you intend to declare your place of residence and where the living space per each adult who has declared the place of residence there is not less than 7 square meters, you own or use such a room on a rent or lease basis, if the relevant contract is concluded for a period not shorter than the period of validity of the temporary residence permit and the contract is registered with the State Enterprise Centre of Registers (Real Estate Register), or the commitment of the legal entity to provide you with a suitable accommodation where you will declare your place of residence and which will meet the requirements for accommodation, during the period of the temporary residence permit, verified by the signature and seal of the notary of the Republic of Lithuania, the elder of the Municipality of the Republic of Lithuania or a manager of the natural or legal entity certified by the civil servant authorised by the Migration division or Migration Department, if such legal entity must bear a stamp.

Required only for the application for the first temporary residence permit. These are certificates issued by the competent authorities of the foreign countries in which you lived or are currently resident for the last 2 years prior to your arrival to Lithuania (except where you have lived abroad for less than 6 months within a 12-month period) confirming the absence (if any) of your convictions in these states which must be issued not earlier than 6 months before the date of your application for a temporary residence permit, translated into Lithuanian, as well as legalized and/or certified (Apostille) when necessary. If you have convictions, the certificate must state when and for what kind of criminal offense you were sentenced, what kind of punishment has been imposed, and whether it has been served.
A clearance certificate stating that you have no convictions, may be made in the original English language or may be accompanied by a translation of this document to English, verified by the translator’s signature.
- Health insurance document (sum insured – EUR 6,000);
Health insurance must meet the following requirements:
- the insurance must guarantee the reimbursement of the necessary medical expenses, as defined in the Law on Health of the Republic of Lithuania, and expenses that may arise due to your return to the foreign state for health reasons (transportation, including escort of a personal health care professional (specialists)); and
- the insurance must be valid for the entire period of validity of the requested temporary residence permit or for at least one year.
Health insurance is not required if you are paying (will pay) social insurance contributions of the specified amount, or somebody will pay them for you.

I am an athlete who competes with other people in high mastery sports competitions organised according to approved and preliminary announced rules of this type of sports, in order to defeat my rivals and improve my physical and mental qualities and skills, or am a coach training the athlete (s) to achieve excellence in sports competitions and/or during the participation of them in these competitions.
You must first submit an application for an issue or renewal of a temporary residence permit electronically through the Lithuanian Migration Information System (MIGRIS). Upon submission of application and after booking the visit time through MIGRIS, you must apply for a temporary residence permit (renewal) in person within 4 months from the date of submission of the application to the MIGRIS and submit the biometric data and the following documents:
