An alien holding a residence permit must notify the Migration Department no later than within 7 days if:

1. he changes the identity or citizenship documents;
2. his family status changes;
3. he changes his place of residence;
4. The address of the registered office of a private legal entity registered in the registry of legal entities, or the address of a branch or a representation office of the company established in a foreign state is changed when the temporary residence permit has been issued to him on the basis of lawful activity or as a manager to be transferred within the company to manage the host company;
5. He submits an application to be admitted to an equivalent degree programme in another science and study institution or to doctoral studies.

The notification about the any changes should be submitted to the Migration Department by the foreigner himself via his Lithuanian Migration Information System (MIGRIS) account.

The same rule applies regarding changes of any data of minor child of the foreigner.
