The foreigner is planning to engage in work, which requires high professional skills, when he/she complies with the conditions established in the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania for the exercise of not regulated professional activities and he/she needs a decision of the Employment Service on the compliance of the work with the needs of the labor market of the Republic of Lithuania

The foreigner who is transferred inside the company as a manager

The foreigner who is transferred inside the company as a specialist

The foreigner who is transferred inside the company as an employee-trainee

The foreigner who has a valid intra-corporate transferee (ICT) temporary residence permit issued by another EU Member State

The foreigner is working under an employment contract and does not require an assessment by the Employment Service as to the compliance with the needs of the Lithuanian labour market

The foreigner is a permanent employee of a company established in a Member State of the European Union or the European Free Trade Association and is sent to work temporarily in the Republic of Lithuania and is insured with social insurance in that Member State

The foreigner intends to work under an employment contract (his/her profession is not included in the list of professions in short supply) or will be employed under a temporary employment contract and requires a decision of the Employment Service

The foreigner who has completed studies or training under a formal vocational training programme in Lithuania, intends to work under an employment contract and applies for a temporary residence permit within 10 years of completing studies or training

The foreigner intends to work under an employment contract when the profession of foreigner is included in the list of professions lacking in the Republic of Lithuania by kind of economic activity

The foreigner intends to work as a lecturer under an employment contract with a Lithuanian institution of science and studies

The foreigner intends to work as a researcher under an employment contract with a Lithuanian institution of science and studies
