Департамент міграції Литовської Республіки повідомляє, що громадяни України, які мають біометричні паспорти і у яких закінчується термін дії національних віз або дозволів на тимчасове проживання в Литовській Республіці, після закінчення терміну дії цих документів одразу можуть почати користуватися 90-денним безвізовим режимом.

Since 31 January, the Migration Department is expanding the circle of foreigners served in the premises of International House Vilnius.

Please be informed that from 1 January 2022 the amount of subsistence to be declared by aliens increases with the approval of a higher amount of the minimum monthly wage (EUR 730 before taxes, and the minimum hourly rate - EUR 4.47).

On 16th of December 2021, in the White Hall of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania (Šventaragio str. 2, Vilnius), 16 persons, who have been granted citizenship of the Republic of Lithuania, took the oath of allegiance to the Republic of Lithuania and became citizens of the Republic of Lithuania.

Migration Department is increasing the number of locations for accepting applications for a national visa or extension of a Schengen visa.

On 26th of August 2021, in the White Hall of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania (Šventaragio str. 2, Vilnius), 19 persons, who have been granted citizenship of the Republic of Lithuania, took the oath of allegiance to the Republic of Lithuania and became citizens of the Republic of Lithuania.

Migration Department informs that an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on fees for long-term (national) visas enters into force on 26 August 2021.

On 16th of July 2021, in the White Hall of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania (Šventaragio str. 2, Vilnius), 14 persons, who have been granted citizenship of the Republic of Lithuania, took the oath of allegiance to the Republic of Lithuania and became citizens of the Republic of Lithuania.

On 8th of July 2021, in the White Hall of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania (Šventaragio str. 2, Vilnius), 15 persons, who have been granted citizenship of the Republic of Lithuania, took the oath of allegiance to the Republic of Lithuania and became citizens of the Republic of Lithuania.

Today, June 21st, the Migration Department accepted first applications to issue e-resident card. Latvian citizens G. Vizulis and M. Vasiljevs, residents of Riga, became the first e-residents. They are Latvian entrepreneurs, who develop their business in Lithuania. 

Migration Department informs that from 21st June 2021 foreigners wishing to make use of the electronic administrative, public or commercial services provided in Lithuania will be able to apply for e-resident status and receive e-resident card with an electronic identification certificate and a qualified electronic signature certificate.

On 20th of May 2021, in the White Hall of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania (Šventaragio str. 2, Vilnius), 9 persons, who have been granted citizenship of the Republic of Lithuania, took the oath of allegiance to the Republic of Lithuania and became citizens of the Republic of Lithuania.
