As of 30 April, all migration services for Lithuanian citizens and foreigners in Kaunas will again be provided at one address - A. Juozapavičiaus Ave. 57.

Due to ongoing improvement and maintenance work of the Lithuanian migration information system MIGRIS, on April 10, from 8 p.m., the website www.migracija.lt may experience disruptions and technical problems.

As of 25th of November, cash will no longer be accepted at all Migration Department customer service desks, and customers will only be able to pay state fees for migration services on the spot using their bank cards.

A new list of foreign countries where an application for a temporary residence permit in Lithuania can be submitted through an external service provider has been approved by order of the Minister of the Interior Agnė Bilotaitė. The list has been shortened to 31 countries out of 34.

Foreigners who have temporary or permanent residence permits in Lithuania should not forget to carefully monitor the validity of these documents and apply to the Migration Department in a timely manner for their change.
