As of 30 April, all migration services for Lithuanian citizens and foreigners in Kaunas will again be provided at one address - A. Juozapavičiaus Ave. 57.

The Migration Department's Customer Service Unit will move from its temporary premises in Baltų Ave. and Šv. Gertrūdos St. to the building on A. Juozapavičiaus Ave. The migration specialists were made to work there after a fire in late December 2023, when an electrical panel caught fire in the building on A. Juozapavičiaus Ave., and the expanding fire destroyed the entire building and caused considerable damage.

Following the renovation of the building, new offices and customer service area, migration services for Lithuanian citizens and foreigners at Juozapavičiaus Ave. 57 will resume on 30 April.

Visits can be booked in advance now.

The Migration Department reminds that without prior registration, the Customer Service Units are open to old-age pensioners; persons with disabilities; citizens of Lithuania coming to collect documents already produced; and citizens of Lithuania wishing to order and receive a passport on the same day, or to order and receive an identity card within 1 working day.

For these persons, migration services are provided on a live queue as soon as a customer service window becomes available.

In all other cases, prior registration is required.
