8 700 60000 – information about migration services provided by the police

Police information service 8 700 60000 was launched on the 5th of December and provides information on all migration related questions – passports, identity cards, legal status of aliens.

Even though one can only be informed about migration issues by calling 8 700 60000 at the moment, people will be able to get information about all police services by calling the above mentioned number in the future – other topics will be introduced at different stages. It has to be noted, that police information service can only be reached by phone now – people will be allowed to contact it by email, when all the topics will be introduced.

Information in Lithuanian, Russian and English languages is provided on working days from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (from 8 a.m. to 4.45 pm. on Fridays).

Police information centre will not provide urgent help and will not duplicate the functions of the Emergency Response Centre – if one needs urgent help, he or she should call 112.
