ELECTRONIC MIGRATION SERVICES – SIMPLE AND CONVENIENT!

From 3rd February 2014 after logging in to Information system of public services related to the issuance of identity and other documents, consulting, provided for the citizens of the Republic of Lithuania and aliens (https://epis.vrm.lt), you may:

  • submit an online application for confirming invitation letter

 After filling in an electronic application and having attached the required copies of the documents, the application that you have submitted will be received and examined and the invitation confirmed in an electronic manner. You will not need to personally arrive to a Migration Division of a Territorial Police Office.

If you order the service of informing, you will be informed about the course of examination for your submitted online application by e-mail and (or) free SMS message. You will be able to view the list of submitted applications and confirmed invitation letter, and to print out invitation letter in the information system.

  • review information about the owned documents

You may see information about identity documents for citizens of the Republic of Lithuania and documents issued for aliens in the Republic of Lithuania that you or your minor children own (passport of the Republic of Lithuania, identity card, travel document of a stateless persons, travel document of a refugee, Alien‘s passport, temporary residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania, Permit of a long-term resident of the Republic of Lithuania to reside in the European Union, Temporary residence card of a family member of a Union citizen, Permanent residence card of a family member of a Union citizen).

This service will be useful to you if you want to find out data about your documents, but at that particular moment you will not have this particular document with you;

  • receive information about expiration date of a document

If you indicate your e-mail address and (or) phone number, you will be automatically informed about it when there will be a certain number of days left until expiration date of identity document by e-mail and (or) free SMS message.

If you actively use certificates entered in your identity card for recognising persons in cyberspace and qualified signature, which are meant for signing electronic documents, you may order the service of informing about expiration date of such certificates.

In this way you will be able to take care of the replacement of identity documents in advance. It will help you to avoid the necessity to replace the documents in an urgent manner, since you will extend the validity of a certificate on time;

  • find out information about identity documents that are now produced

If you order the service of informing you will be automatically informed about the date when your document will be produced and where you may receive it, by e-mail and (or) free SMS message;

  • submit a report about a lost document

You will be able to submit a report about a lost identity document at any time of the day and your document will be immediately announced as invalid. You will not need to go to the responsible institution.

After announcing the lost identity document as invalid, there will be fewer chances that someone will illegally use your lost document.

If you indicate your e-mail address and (or) phone number you will be informed about the fact that your document was already announced as invalid;

  • pay state fee for provided services

You will not need to fill in personal data or enter payment information. After you choose the appropriate services, the system will provide you with partly filled payment application.
