Which citizens of EU Member State acquire the right to temporarily reside in the Republic of Lithuania?

The citizen of an EU Member State entering the Republic of Lithuania for residence for a time period that is longer than three months within half a year and complying with at least one of the grounds provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 101 of the Law on the Legal Status of Aliens, a certificate of the form established by the Minister of the Interior is issued to confirm their right to reside in the Republic of Lithuania.

The citizens of the European Free Trade Association States are subject to the same provisions as the citizens of the EU Member States.
